Wonderful Internet

It's been an excellent few days off, this Thanksgiving Day. I hope your's went as well.

I came across this and thought it was cool enough to spread around. It is called Its A Wonderful Internet. The story is a retooling and modernization in the style of like 'The Night Before Christmas' and 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas', except that the INTERNET disappears. *shock* *horror*. The narrator has a great voice. I recognize it...I think its car commercial voice over guy. anyone know his name? Anyway, its just fun, interactive story telling.

  1. Seems like it follows A Christmas Carol a lot more than Grinch or Night Before. Good link, Gigi enjoyed it. She wants to see it again.

I took offense, however at the fat, ugly portrayal of the landlord. :-0

Also, while Gore may have said he "invented the internet" and he's taken a lot of hits for it, he was instrumental behind the initial federal funding of its development. That's what he was getting at with his original comment which was spun beyond his control.

K, Gigi wants to write something:

  4. Really clever and fun story! Music good and fun turning pages but it was a bit hard on Al Gore. He never said he invented the internet. I agree with Anonymous.
