I was inside most of the day Sunday after brining in a few loads of firewood in the morning. The bitter cold makes too much time outside a touch uncomfortable so I came in and started watching one of my favorite tv shows: MTVs Pimp My Ride.
Then I started thinkin'. What the Hell! Why is it that only these stupid punks from Southern California are the only ones gettin' their rides pimped. I have been watching Music Television since 1981! So I did what every good youtuber does...I made a video.
My featured video is a short piece I made this afternoon introducing my ride.

PIMP MY RIDE!
Joe, if any ride was in serious need of pimpin' it is the Turtle. You have my vote. I would like to see more of your videos featured, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tony. I'm gonna email the vid to MTV and see what happens.
ReplyDeleteThat is TOO funny!!! Kudos on the video :D :D I'm pimping you now!
ReplyDeleteHow did you create the smaller YouTube viewer here on your blog??? I've been trying to figure out how to do that!
Thanks mik.
ReplyDeleteTo make the vid small you have to change the embed code. For you tube vids it will usually read like 425 x 355. I just cut it in half (213x178).
Hi Joe--I have been enjoying your blog from the warmth of Arizona. Yes, your vehicle could definitely use some sprucing up. But it has character, and I like that. Maybe they could rig up something so that you could carry your bike inside AND have a functional front seat.

What if I don't have a ride to be pimped. Could I have something else pimped? Like my, uh...couch? Or my exercise bike? That's sort of like a ride.
ReplyDeleteSaradevil.
ReplyDeleteyes you could pimp your exercise bike...why not? Everything looks better with a new paint job.
Neat video and Turtle, Joe, with the Satellite radio. 50 miles to work and back, in Maine! Ya gotta be tough to live in Maine!
ReplyDeletePimp that shnizzle wit da dizzle Mr. Geology fizzle.
ReplyDeleteYou deserve it Joe good luck! Great video.
