We picked up the girls this morning. 6 to start off. They hatched about a day or two ago. For the next few weeks they'll brood in a wood box that I cobbled together using scrap osb from the patio project last summer and some short pieces to 2x4.
Well this should be fun.
Since we didn't need the second dog house any longer I hve moved and converted it into a chicken coop. This pic is shwoing it in a nearly complete form. We are starting out w 4 bird then add on as we get the hang of it.
Should be fun.
